I am so tired of being judge at what I am not what I can be...
I play high school Lacrosse, and one of my friends has heard the team talking about how I should be cut, because I am not in shape... I guess it ticks me off #1) because they don't have the guts to say it to my face, or even tell me how the feel and #2) they are judging me on how I am now, not what I was or could be, and they don't even think of what I have been through. There are about 6 guys on the team that have had knee problems, but nothing like mine... It just ticks me off. I have talked to the trainer at school and she says that no matter what shape you are in, the first season back from an injury is hard. I recover fast enough, I am just having problems running again on uneven turf and speed problems. It just bugs me...

1. You have been through so much with that injury
Try to hold your head up and stick in there. Obviously these guys who are badmouthing you behind your back haven't faced a serious injury and recuperation. They have no business judging you. Is the trainer supportive of you?

2. Very...
she seems to be mean sometimes, but she just tells me the truth and dose not try to hide the facts and reality from me. She has also had knee trouble, so she knows what I have been through and going through now...

3. I really admire you for hanging in there
You are going to be a much stronger person in the long run than your gutless back stabbing teamates. And remember - life gets a lot better after high school!
