So what do you think of the latest SIDS research?
I wonder what the seratonin connection means. One of the articles said that these babies tend to be very still when they sleep. I know that my dad, I and several of my kids sleep like corpses. Once we lie down, we don't move. On the other hand, the kid who isn't a depressive is so active when he sleeps that he kicked the bed apart one night!

1. I got the impression it wasn't just "serotonin"
but a more organic issue that kept the body from reacting because it hadn't built up (yet) the resources it would need to survive a low-oxygen situation.

May be wrong, but...

fwiw, my cousin-in-laws or whatever lost their child to SID. It's awful, and I can just try to imagine how awful I'd feel if I lost my child to that. The research seems to indicate it's an organic brain stem issue.
