Anybody out there?
I don't even know what I want. I'm on Effexor, but some days are just so empty. PMs would be great, or just a reply to this thread.

1. Hello!
What kind of "empty?" Can you get outside and wander around? That always seems to help me.

2. Lots of us out here, just wait until we find you. On another note,
Effexor is potent stuff, the first day I tried it, I fell, lost all muscle tone could hardly get up and had bright flashes in my right eye. My other half called the Doc, I had a very bad reaction to the stuff. Took me 2 days to get my strength up. Am now on generic Celexa, does the job for me and I have had no side effects. Added bonus, generic Celexa at Wal-Mart, $4.00

When you feel like it,click on the link above, do a quick sing along. Helps me.
I was told that things will get better, they did, or at least my ability to cope with things got better.
Good Luck

3. I'm here-howdy! I'm doing much better-when times were rough I took it 1 hour at a time
and tried to keep repeating to myself that "this too would pass"

when I was able I forced myself to have people contact as that would help keep thoughts from spiraling too far downward-much easier to do on the not so bad days as compared to the really bad days-sometimes even a forced smile is what helps get us through

now that I am feeling better I can't understand how I could have thought that things wouldn't get better, but I guess that is just the nature of depression or bipolar or whatever ailment is striking...

6. Hi, I'm just checking in
My daughter is also on Effexor, it seems to not be working so today her psychiatrist put her on a low dosage anti psychotic (don't know the name) which she says the psychiatrist says is supposed to kick start the Effexor.

I hope you are doing better.

7. Thanks
I'm a little better. The last few months have been kind of tough.

I appreciate the support. If nothing else, it's nice to know I can go somehere and have friends. I have some friends outside, but it's odd - some of the better ones are just online. Maybe not so odd - they're in the community I believe in.

Anyway, .... I can't end this, but thanks.

Love to all

11. Hi Tab-----
just another American liberal here, who has also felt alone and isolated a lot... I don't know you, no doubt never will, but I care, and we all need each other, even if just to be in solidarity against the attempted fascist takeover of our beloved country...I hope happier days will be just around the corner for you.-------abq e streeter
