getting better?
all of a sudden my seroquel was giving me od symptoms.....no significant weight loss, no new meds. I got really sick, and still feel pretty crappy from the toxic levels, but went to the doc and now am on half of my old dose, and that is just to keep away withdrawl symptoms, we will see how things go.......this ever happen to everyone?

1. Seroquel was tough to kick
I gained almost 60 lbs on it in the space of 18 months. I am still trying to lose the weight. It really impacted my sleep, too-- I was sleeping 10 hours a day on it, which was way too much (I do well on 8, and can get by on 6-7). It was good, but in the end I don't know if it did any good for me.

I was only on 75mg at my peak, but eventually tapered off it completely over the course of several months. It took me over two months to taper off the last 25mg.

2. shit
I went from 800mg to 400mg. And may have to drop lower.......I am not a pleasent person right now, but I've kicked other atypicals, if I can get off Zyprexa, I can get off anything.

3. You can do it!
WOW, that's a huge drop in dosage at once. But if you've lived through a Zyprexa withdrawal, you'll get through this!

6. ok, very little withdrawl
though my sleep clock is all messed up right now. Still on the 400. After 2 days of being on the 400, fever, stomach pain and racing heart were better. However I have noticed them start to return, though to a much lesser degree. I see my doc in a week or so, and we will continue the taper. A very big plus, not only have psychotic sympotoms not gotten worse, they have greatly diminished. A bit moody though. I'll keep you updated
