Has anyone read
Iron Men and Saints" by Harold Lamb, written in the 1930s. I have just finished it and was amazed at the similarity to the bushie false war episode! It also gives you a good idea of why they hate us so much. From Day-One. I did wonder what reviews say about the book.

1. Is this the book you mean?
Full title "The Crusades; iron men and saints" actually published in 1943?

Several customer reviews at Amazon rate it highly.

2. Yes, that is the book. I found the fact that
Pope Urban II fabricated the need for this war for his own political reasons so similair to the Middle East crisis today. I guess we never learn.

3. Yes! Great book.
I found it at a yard sale for 25 cents. One of the best purchases ever!
