Lighthouse photos

Where is it? I love that blue, blue water.

near Two Harbors.

I would have sworn it was the ocean somewhere. (You can tell I haven't spent much time around the Great Lakes.)

If it were not fresh water, it would be a sea!

Well... better than sex with an ugly person. In general, sex beats even my most ardent lighthouse/photography fetishes.

But very, very lovely, KW! I like the top one best, I like seeing more ocean. What a gorgeous day you had to shoot in! My particular fetish about lighthouses is to imagine what it would be like to live in. That is a totally liveable lighthouse. :)

Lake Superior.

I read the posts above before I posted. Would you believe I'm sick and feverish? That I was distracted by being surrounded by ten or so 20-somethings who were talking about airplaines as sex toys while typing? That I really just logged on briefly to get a taste of home because I missed a flight out of New Orleans and had to stay the night at a volunteer camp where nightly shootings are occuring and so must be forgiven for any and all lapses of cognition?

I'm a wise-ass, KW, but I swear to God all the above excuses are true!

I'm staying in Grand Marais tonight (Friday), and will be driving to Duluth tomorrow taking pics along the way!
Beautiful drive, but overcast this weekend.
The cliffs along the NorthShore of Superior are stunning.

Although overcast is also lends itself to great photography. I love the north shore.
