A little wildlife

I know I've mentioned here before that there is a large pond next to my apartments. Really a retaining pond for the apartments and offices around, but they really went all out making it suitable for animals, with lots of plants and fish and such. From the pictures, you'd never know it was sandwiched between two office buildings. It's very convenient for me, if I want to go out in the morning and try to get a few shots, it's great for just walking around.

Okay, I know it's not wildlife, but I liked this picture of my kitty:

The second one has a very Zen feel, as do the ducks in silhouette. And, while I'm not much of a cat person, the last photo is a fine feline portrait.

Only thing I'm apt to see here stepping out of the house early is a raccoon lumbering away after knocking over our recycling bins... :banghead:

The herons are nice too.
