4. Lot harder than one whould think.
I know I have a lot of portal images, I just couldn't find all of them, and the ones I found were similar to other entries. Finding a portal that was different was the challenge.

8. haha
It's a pair of lips on a stick ... It was taken at a Renaissance. Come to think of it, they didn't seem too popular as I didn't see any set of lips walking around on a stick

10. Won't have time to get a good portal shot ...
but at least it's an entry. Taken on my way to my 30th reunion from high school in Nebraska a couple of years ago. People don't believe me when I tell them I can see trees and buildings 8+ miles away....

12. Which aircraft were you flying?
I notice the trailing-edge wing pylons. The only passenger jet I'm familiar with that had those was the old Convair 990 "Coronado"...but I doubt there have been any of those still in passenger service for at least twenty years. (As a matter of fact, I seem to recall someone trying to auction one off on eBay!)

13. Can't help much.
From the route and the color scheme of the aircraft it was probably Southwest, which says it flies 737 300/500/700s. Probably the 300, based on what I recall about passenger size for that route.

It's good to see so many interpretations of portals.
