2. Actually...
It's looking out of the window of my home office. It is really fun to see how the view changes from season to season here in southern Maryland.

3. What a nice view. Very relaxing to see something like that
I'm looking at my neighbors chimney, a fence, and a bunch of snow out my home office window. :(

4. Beautiful pictures...
I have a nice view out of my home office, too. I'm semi-underground so when I look out my windows I see the upper parts of the trees, but none of the houses. I like that. Makes me feel like I'm living in the forest.

12. Thank You
It would be hard to shoot a bad photo of that view, though!

But I'm just a lurker here; I cannot take great photos like these.

13. I Have To Give My Camera
a lot of the credit. I shoot with a Pentax *ist DS 35mm digital SLR. I can shoot in either autofocus or manual focus, and the electronics give me many options for exposure priority, etc. I've been shooting primarily with Pentax cameras for more than 20 years, and I've always been happy with the cameras.

Thank you for the praise.

16. Oh, no, you don't...
A camera has never been able to take a good photo by itself.

The credit, there as ever, lies with the person behind it.

10. When I was a little girl back in the Dark Ages
my grandma used to give me sassafras tea when I was sick.

14. The Fragrance of Sassafras
takes me back to my childhood in East Tennessee. There was a vacant lot at the end of the street where I grew up. One spring the owner decided to put in a vegetable garden, and he cut the overgrowth and plowed the ground. I can still remember the fragrance of the sassafras roots that were cut by the plow.
