Another sunset - new lens
Here's a little sunset I took with my new wide angle lens. I haven't had a chance to try out the telephotos and macros yet, but I'm pretty happy with this one.

I hope I'm not boring everybody with sunsets. :)

2. Very nice :)
The distant mountains almost look more like a painting for an old-time movie set :). (and I mean that in a good way).

Nice stuff :).

4. Ooooo, cool, ITF. I LOVE it.
I'm particularly partial to reflections. I have unwittingly taken so many that I'm consciously trying now to take pictures of other things, but it's hard when you live in a water world like Alaska.

7. Very nice.
You know what I like about sunsets? You can go to the exact same place and get a completely different view every time. (Or like today, no view at all because of the clouds. :( ) My sunset place is just a couple miles down the road, which is nice, because if it looks like it's going to be a good one, I can just hop in the car and get there before it's over.

9. It looks like an oil painting
Doesn't bore me. But, I thought you didn't have the "sun" this time of year. :+

Here, in the summer, the smog helps create some magnificient sunsets and colors but I've never shot any. But I will this year. You'll have to wait for my sunset shots....

10. Actually we've got more sun than not
this time of year -- 12 hours, 48 minutes, 5 seconds, to be exact. Our daylight starts changing very rapidly at the equinoxes. We are gaining almost six minutes of daylight a day right now.
