Yesterday and today
This mornings sunrise forewarning the storm on its way

Yesterdays walk found us picking up sand dollars while the birds feasted on them..

.until we found these tracks of the one trying to escape

and then the sunset which belied the storm...goes to show ya how quickly things change

1. There's nothing better than sunsets on the beach, is there?
And clouds over the ocean, always nice. Good photos!

3. Beautiful series, xiamiam
The 2nd or 6th would have done well in the Silhouettes contest, I'm sure.

These are very good.

You may not know, but sunsets are one of my favorite things to photograph. These are great.

10. "Magic Hour" and Framing
Cinematographers call the time around sunset and sunrise magic hour. There is a lot of magic in these images.

The 6th image might be better without most of the dark band at the bottom. Try cropping all but about half a millimeter of it and see if you do not like it better.

I would rotate the last image to make the horizon level. It is usually a bad idea to put the center of interest in the center of the image. In this case, it works because it brings out the subtle and interesting asymmetries.

I like the tactile and narrative qualities of the 3nd image.

I like the light in the 3rd and 4th images.

11. thanks so much for the feedback...just for taking time to look and even think about how to improve..
truly appreciate..
magic hour..there are certain hues of light that require attention ...rose light reflecting on the suns' opposite horizon...golden cloud linings..when just watching is precious because the moment is fleeting...and soon the sun will burn out your iris...or disappear...i remain fascinated....thanks again
