1. The first one and the last one are my favorites.
The water in the first pic is so still, must not have been even a wisp of a breeze.

I don't know anything about composition, but I like the way you set up the last picture.

Thoroughly enjoying your 'walking' posts and going through the threads on this forum. There's a lot of talented people here.

2. thanks..soup...it's an experiment for me as well...on many levels..physically and creatively...and
socially, since i've never really just posted my photos to a group before...but seems like a good thing to be doing... i simultaneously dread and look forward to the daily outing...always feel relieved afterward..and if im really lucky, i get a shot..and if not, i can just share the scenery..

5. I'm glad you decided to share them.
Photography feels like something I'd like to learn more about. Just got my first 'real' camera about a week ago. A Canon A-630. Still on 'auto' - so much to learn about the camera itself, that alone might well be more than my tired old brain can handle. And then on the other end, is the computer stuff - crop and resize, etc.

There's a bit more to it than 'say cheese' and take it to Walgreen's to get developed. (lol)

I'm simply amazed by y'all.

9. i use picasa.com...easy to upload, free, easy to fix the photos and to email, share...
there is a little glitch with uploading to this site...but the regulars here taught me how to do it so i got photobucket as well quite recently...but if you are just getting started, picasa is a good site..very user friendly...simple but efficient at the same time...

I love the bird shots. May I ask what lens you used?

6. Ah, another member of the Canon club. :-)
That's what I have, too, only mine is a 20D that my husband got me last year for Christmas. This is my first SLR - I never "did" film stuff (just snapshots with a point & shoot), so I'm learning all the time.

7. If these walks are doing half as much for your health
as they are for amassing a bunch of great photos, then you're doing yourself a world of good.

Keep 'em coming!

12. I just happened to have two
pics of one of my first ferrets Gizmo that worked well together and an old (5) version of paint shop pro animation. If you have two pics close that might work i would be happy to try to combine them into an animation.
