The Photography Group Demopedia site is really starting to look good.
There are links to a gallery of the green theme contest (thanks to F.Gordon) and ralps' montage of Sunset Over DU makes the site look pretty.

Check it out: http://demopedia.democraticunderground.com/index.php/DU_Photography_Group

1. Hey flow, here are the links to the first and second contests...
Edited on Thu Apr-28-05 09:51 AM by Longgrain
The pics are still in my photobucket account, so I can host them indefinitely (or at least until I run out of space...)

The first contest, Dec. 24-25 2004...

And the second contest...the winter series...

I'll go and look for the third one you hosted (graveyards if I remember)later.

2. Thanks, Longgrain.
I was thinking about putting up those links, but I know at least three of my photo links are broken, and Raging's 1st place Babyland is gone from the cemeteries contest, so I decided not to post the links.

Plus, I figure if someone is dying to see our contests, they can come and visit us in the Group. Just my attempt to get more traffic in--bwaaahaaahaaa!

5. Damn, I had deleted the cemetary photo without thinking and now there
is no way of getting it back on the thread. Maybe we can ask F. Gordon to do one of those galleries with the top three winners of every contest since November.

7. There was a contest in November?
I spent most of November thinking about what country we should move to. x( Was there a November contest? I've completed all the contest galleries except February.....

I'm going to put a copyright notice on these galleries, like it'll do any good. If anyone has an objection to their photos being available to the general public for consumption ya' need to let me know. I can 'protect' your photo so it can't be copied.... and it will be copied. I'm going to keep these galleries kicked up to the front page on this site.

9. Sorry, man, I meant December
Longgrain started the photogroup either in late november or early December at a time when we were all mourning the election. The first contest was held over the Christmas holidays.

3. Thanks for takin' the time to do this flow
I whipped up a gallery for the December contest and included the 'bonus' photos that weren't in the contest from Longgrain's link provided above. I'll work on the others, but I think some photos are missing.....

BTW: I have unlimited server space and 8 gig a month bandwidth. So, I have no problem with linking these if Longgrain doesn't want to strain his 'size' problem. ;)

4. And the January "Winter/Cold" Theme contest
http://onionfarm.smugmug.com/gallery/506568

As with the others I included the xtra 'bonus' photos in the January Gallery.

I can't complete the February Cemetery Theme contest because I'm missing RetroLounge and RagingInMiami photos ... and I can't search the Lounge archives because I think some brainless fuckwad is on the TV or sumtin' and traffic is heavy...

8. Tanks'
I finally got into the lounge archives. I'm only missing the Retrolounge "Postcard" photo and flow's 'bonus' photos from the February contest and I can have everything current.

11. Are these the photos you're looking for?
I posted four photos but only would want these three on yours. I deleted the other one from my computer and it would be hard for me to dig out the print for rescan at this time.

Gertie (Pet Cemetery, Colorado Springs, CO)

Autumn Cemetery (Monson, MA)

The Oldest Cemetery in My Hometown (Wilbraham, MA)

12. Yes. Thanks.
They've just been added. Now the only photo I'm missing is the Postcard by Retrolounge.

10. My pleasure.
Demopedia and the Photography Group are two of my favorite DU interests. Combining them is fun! But hosting has been a worry of mine. So thanks for hosting.
