Help with night shots
Edited on Sat May-21-05 09:33 AM by mutley_r_us
Is my only problem in this pic camera movement (I might have had a few beers in me)? Or is there some secret to taking night shots that I don't know about.

See, you guys have created a monster.

monopod.

What kind of camera are you using? Are you able to open the aperture? This allows more light into the camera, which is what you want to do for a night shot -- let as much light in as possible.

Of course, this also means that you will have to reduce the speed of the camera accordingly, which is why you need a tripod or monopod.

If you don't have a tripod, try leaning against a tree or a wall for support, but chances are, the shot will still come out blurry.

4. Not terribly expensive
It depends on the quality. You can get one for about ten bucks, or you can pay more than 100 bucks for one. Or you can choose from many in between.
