4. I will always have an orange ginger kitty
from here on out. :loveya: They are the best, aren't they?

How long did your Punkie live Blue? So sorry he crossed the bridge.

Demon is 7.5 y/o. If anything happened to him I would have to be committed, seriously. He is the light of my life. Betcha can't tell.

:loveya: :bounce:

6. I don't remember exactly what year Punkie was born
but he was probably around 11 when I had to put him down. He had a genetic issue, though -- hip dysplasia, I think -- so his life was cut shorter than it would have been otherwise. His sister Sugar was spared the physical problem that mom Julie and brother Punkie had, so she's still alive and well and will probably continue on for a good long while.

8. Oh poor thing
how did you know he had a hip problem? Did he have problems sitting or walking? My friend has an inbred Golden with this issue, the poor dog is always in pain because of the stupid morons that bred him. :grr:

9. I first noticed it with Julie

Very early on in her life, when she was just a few years old, she developed a really twitchy tail and nerve problems, hypersensitivity. We thought maybe it was because she had been rescued from a crack house, but later she got weaker and weaker in her back end until she could hardly walk, then Punkie started showing the same kind of symptoms, so we deduced that it was hereditary. It was really hard to see them deteriorate so much because they were such sweet cats, but there wasn't anything we could do about it.

5. Love the clothes basket shot
We haven't had an orange farm cat for a very long time. I told my wife last week we need to get a male before baby season (we have 7 females) to try and get the illusive male calico.

Nice shots!

are always a welcome resting place too.

17. Poor Sebastian is so deaf now
and often does not see things. He is getting very thin. But he is still in good spirits.

19. yeah, he's content, moves a little more
carefully, but he is still happy and alert. But loss of muscle tone, etc. He's an old man, 80 something! He's been such a good cat though, never a lick of trouble from this brown tabby.
