Just another SHITTY day in paradise...
Edited on Mon Feb-25-08 01:52 AM by 48percenter
Don't worry, the snow is rapidly disappearing, I have one long ski weekend 3/2-3/5 in Switzerland with my daughter and her boyfriend, who are flying over on2/29 to visit. That will most likely be the end of the season unless I can convince my hubby to go overe Easter weekend, but he wants to go diving in a lake south of here.

The snow was terrible yesterday, with 10c (50F?) in the higher elevations, it was like sliding through wet concrete. I have a huge bruise on my right shoulder, at least I know my bindig release, and thankfully I always wear a helmet when ski!

Hopefully the last segment will work for you, it is a little animated short from skiing down the mountain, after I fell.

Enjoy.

1. Great pictures - as always
and it makes me jealous that you live so close to the mountains to go skiing whenever you want

It is supposed to get colder again towards the end of the week so you might get lucky with the snow.

3. No surprise
you are having boots now that fit :)

Yes, I know, I need to come more often. If it weren't that expensive I would.

8. That was fun.
Reminded me of a 60-70's era 8mm film genius (whose name was apparently only remotely similar to Brasch or who has not survived on the net as mapped by Scroogle). He did things like 10 shots a day through his cabin window for a year to show the seasons changing. No similarity in technique, of course, but still, a snapshot of "what is" that helps the viewer "be there" and share the experience.
