Biking, swimming, lounging. The whole Bundestadt (region) is on vacation. :boring:

This weekend has been especially gorgeous, 75F, low humidity, puffy clouds. Just perfect.

Enjoy! :hi:

11. These are great, 48.
I envy you your sun. If it ever came out here like that, we'd probably all go blind. I love the hollyhocks and the wheat -- they remind me of my grandma's house when I was very young, back in the Dark Ages.

13. We've actually had a great summer
Last summer was AWFUL, rain for weeks on end. Someone told me today that our weather has been influenced alot this year by Atlantic lows. Normally we get warm weather from dry Siberian highs, but for some reason the lows have been more frequent. All I know is, this summer has been pleasant, with periods of rain, not weeks on end -- and it's never been over about 88F-90F. Those days are few and far between.

You can see it in the gardens and landscape, everything is very lush. I'm LOVIN it. The days are still long, light until 9:15pm, but I have noticed the angle of the sun is different. It's a bit lower in the sky, and the light is more clear.

Four months till SKI SEASON!!

14. I think it's so interesting how our weather
is affected by events far out at sea. Our weather pattern this year is supposedly the result of colder water off the coast of Peru. Whatever it is, I wish it would warm up for at least a little bit before we head into winter. This is just ridiculous.

23. Ha I can only WISH that was my garden
It is actually the towns' garden. People volunteer to take care of it, but it is owned by a man and his wife, they have a landscaping business. And a darn nice one too. ;D

25. Why am I not surprised
the US airline totally rot. I refuse to fly them anymore, esp. for transatlantic flights. Is Emirates flying 380s into Germany yet? Or just across the pond?

I SO want to fly on one of those babies!
