Pictures from Krk, Croatia
What a cool place. We went for diving for hubby, and I ventured out to the coastal towns. Great food, reasonable prices (Croatia not in EU yet) People are warm and friendly.

Here's a link to my album in Picasa: http://picasaweb.google.com/dakota73060/Croatia?authkey=LYOTvKCrzDI

9. it's really nice
not elegant like the French Riviera, but homey and pleasant. And the food KICKED ass. Some of the best food I've had in the Mediterranean area.

4. I wish mine was... my camera has been "missing" for two weeks...
It wasn't expensive (Sony DSC H-2) but I can't really afford to replace it right now with youngest daughter starting college, and me returning for another year (at least). Gonna' have to save my pennies.

Who knows...the way I take pictures, maybe it ran away! :(

Glad you are having a great summer! :)

5. Oh noes!!!11
This always works, seriously - say a prayer to St. Anthony, he is the patron saint of missing things. I don't know how it works, but it does.

Hope you find your camera. Where's the youngest headed off to? Local or east coast fever? :D

8. Very nice photos
You captured many of those images in beautiful light. The history that is there is incredible and to think that such a beautiful place was the place of a bloody civil war 10-15 years ago. Wow. Those coastline shots are beautiful.

11. Thanks yeah, I don't think we were far away
from Bosnia-Herzgovina. It was strange to drive over the borders and think that this region was in a terrible war just a decade ago.

This looks so peaceful. I loved your album, too. I'll probably never get to Europe, so I really enjoy seeing your photos.

13. Aw, thanks Blue!
Yes, the light was interesting. It had just rained, and then cleared up.

And those shots were taken with my little SonyCybershot! I hear we are going again first weekend in October, so I will be sure to take the big lenses with me this time. Now that I know where I am going. LOL. :hi:
