Earthquake!
Just in case you hear of it, no problems here, but there was a good jolt this morning about 160 miles SW of Anchorage -- conflicting reports between 5.7 and 6.1 magnitude. It was enough to get our attention and pump a little adrenaline, but we're fine.

2. I'm sorry. That just slipped away from me. I'm so glad you are OK, it's scary.
I know I was in one once in CA.

3. Oh, you're forgiven.
Pretty funny joke, actually.

We're pretty used to earthquakes here...there's been a real swarm of them over the past 24 hours, but mostly they're very small, less than 3.0. I usually don't even feel them unless they're over 5.0. It was kind of surprising that this one was felt so strongly here in Anchoratge when the epicenter was so far away.

4. Glad you're ok
5.7 to 6.1 is pretty strong. Looking at the map here (http://earthquake.usgs.gov/eqcenter/recenteqsus/Maps/special/Alaska.php). It has been a busy week. What the heck are you guys doing up there?

5. We're jumping up and down yelling at Sarah.
 Alaska has had 17 earthquakes since midnight last night, five of them in our area. I only felt the last one, though.

6. Well, that explains it!
I wondered what all the shouting was about.
