New Lights, new Model.
I know some might find this objectification.

I think we are all objects. Objects of various attributes.

How that makes us less sacred, not sure.

1. We are all objects of life and beauty.
Nothing but beauty in this.

3. Thank you.
I find the human body has become even more of a land mine in the last decade or so.

I am quite heartened by these responses.
I worship a triple goddess, and this woman is a mother of two.

Week before last, I photographed a friend the night before the birth of her second baby.

I think I am being shown that in my crises, life keeps reinventing itself.

I find both of these women quite strong, and the negotiation with the model over comfort issues
I think gave her the confidence to work with me, and the hugely short wide angle (10mm) and the 18-200 os zoom, both of which work well close in.

I am hoping to convince a friend of mine to foot the cost for Valentine's Day Flower Shoot for an advert.
I predict that before I die, I might just make a modest living at this.

2. Art is art
and this is art.

I don't think too many here will call this objectification (coming from one of the founders of the DU Feminsts Group...)

I think your photo is gorgeous.

4. Thank you.
I was trying for a timeless look.
My model's shocking beauty overwhelmed me for a moment, and I sat down and wept.
She needed a break anyway. Both of us pushed our batteries into the red, i think.

7. Very nice
Maybe a bit more light in the background would help prevent the black hair and black clothing from being merged into the black background. (Could be a problem with my uncalibrated monitor, too.)
