OK, Mira, here's my travel plans for Page, AZ and beyond

Early Sunday morning I'm going to depart Fort Worth and refuel at Belen, NM. From there I'm going to fly to the San Francisco volcano field just north of Flagstaff and get some aerial photos. From there it's northeast to Monument Valley, then back west and do a bit of sightseeing over Lake Powell. I'll be spending the night a Page and perhaps taking in a boat ride. Early the next morning we'll make it back out to the airport and takeoff for an aerial tour of the Grand Canyon. I'm basically going to criss-cross the canyon all the way from Marble Canyon to Lake Mead. I'll be refueling just outside of Las Vegas in Boulder City, and from there we'll be flying to Fresno, and spending a few days at Yosemite. I can't fly directly to Fresno due to restricted areas, so we'll be approaching Fresno from the south flying north through the valley.

After a few days at Yosemite, we'll be heading Northwest to the Palo Alto airport and spend a few days in San Francisco. Then I'll blast off from Palo Alto early in the morning and fly back to Fort Worth with a couple of fuel stops. With any luck I'll catch some nice tailwinds and nice weather which will make for a quick trip.

I've got all my camera stuff ready with plenty of memory cards, so I hope to get quite a few pictures along the way.

The itinerary is spectacular. You will have life enriching experienced all along the way. I'm thrilled you shared the plans, I'll be imagining you "up there" and around.
I'm also happy you plan to come on the ground in Page Arizona, one of my peak experience places. I'm attaching photos I took at Glen Canyon/Lake Powell, and also from
ANTELOPE CANYON.
It is a mile or two from the center of Page, I'm attaching all the info from a letter I saved when I planned my trip (now 2 years ago) on how you can go see that Canyon.
It is unlike anything else, it is ethereal.

DIRECTIONS TO ANTELOPE CANYON ADVENTURES
We are located on Lake Powell Boulevard (#104) in the Safeway Shopping Plaza directly across the street from the Budget Host/Economy Inn Motel in Page. We are located around the corner from the Safeway Supermarket and face the main street itself. Be advised there are three other companies doing tours and all are located on Lake Powell Boulevard. All also say Antelope in their signage, so be sure you find ANTELOPE CANYON ADVENTURES. We are the only ones who use JEEPS as our tour vehicles so the trucks in front will say “JEEP” on the tailgates. Be sure you find either NORM OR MIKE, if you do not you are in the wrong place. You will want to have our phone number with you (928) 645-5501 or toll free from out of town (866) 645-5501. You need to call the morning of the tour or the day/night before to reconfirm. When calling from Page itself you will only need to dial 645-5501.

A tour of the canyon will maybe take at the most 2 hours including the ride on the Jeep and back. It is so worth it.
