NYC Gay Pride Parade
OK I'm still working my way through the 1,200+ shots, hey it's a 6 hour parade, and I probably would have had more if I stuck around for the street fair part of it but the crowd control in the Village made it so not worth it unless I wanted a portfolio of back of someones head shots.

1. From a handsome hunk, to a mom-to-be,
to a lover of Christ, and the pageantry of the man in the dress, nothing does it more for me than the tenderness in those hands holding the precious little girl's hand. I wish I could see the other dad. She looks so secure and at ease in the crowd. Great photos, Thanks!

2. Those are great shots!

Now, I'm going to go look at the rest of the album.

I'm back...
Wow! All of those are great I can see why you shot so many. There's a yellow costume in there that knocks your socks off. And what's with the gay contingency from Peru of all places.

3. I waited to have time to follow the link, and want to highly recommend it to others
to do the same. You have created an emotional account of the event that in my opinion is probably the finest of its kind I have ever seen. Thank you for that, and the photography is spectacular as well.
I hope you are extremely proud of your work.

4. Thank you very much Mira
Even though I've been involved in the parade in some way or another since 76 this is the first time I've ever seen the whole thing from beginning to end as a spectator.

I'll tell you, next time I have to finagle a media pass so I'm not stuck behind the barricades.
