I took a long bike ride today. Come with me if you want and really get tired of "green"

Out my front door a spider's net - maybe she just caught breakfast




Starting the trail over a very narrow bridge and a creek onto the trail to the lake




After a couple of miles I arrive at one of my favorite spots of the trail, a brown bridge








I follow along the creek a few more miles




After arriving at the Lake and starting to ride around it I see this guy. Asking him of course if I'm allowed to take his picture, and also if he was as happy and relaxed as he looked: " Take it" he said "for the rest, I'm just pretending".

This little fellow watched my excitement shooting the bird, and wanted his picture taken.

Shortly before the end of the trail around the lake I saw this guy

Almost back now, passing a golf course, I hope you enjoyed coming along on my ride.

What a wonderful jaunt thru southern summer. I could feel the humidity.
Loved the heron, always partial to ducks.
Real feel for what it is like down here.
Hope the "Yankees" enjpy the ride.

know what that humid heat is like, but Dixiegrrrrl knows about it, and more so.
The color and stagnancy of the water gives some of the heat away in the photos.

We don't have many hills around here, but otherwise lots in common here, even the bridge!! Fun. I almost felt as though I was on a bike ride.
