Daddy Long Legs
I was shooting some mums the other day and this guy crawled into the frame:

2. Daddy long legs are wonderful creatures. The are
arachnids, but not spiders because the body segments are fused, not in segments.

Notice the liquid on its back?

3. Yeah, it had just stopped raining and I thought the drops would look good on the mums.
Seems this guy got a bit damp too.

5. Your instincts were right and a happy accident made for
more than a pretty flower image.

7. Earlier this Spring I put my camera on a thirteen foot stand and placed it in front of a Wren nest.
I was amazed at the number of Daddy Long Legs that she brought home for dinner. I had never thought of them as prey before.
