I may get lazy and use something I already have. Otherwise it would be clouds or birds. Either Japan gives people lots of reason to look up at things, or I was a bit prescient about this contest theme. This is just a small sampling of my "looking up" Japan pictures.

1. Beautiful pictures. I'd like to see more!
Japan is a fascinating place. I wish I could have spent more time there, especially in Kyoto. I'd love to go back.

:hi:

2. Well, I'll probably choose a different Buddha
For the contest entry.

These pics were taken in Kyoto and Nara, except for the Fuji building (I think??) , which was in Tokyo.

A whole bunch of temples and especially the shrines were up on hills. I wasn't just looking up, I was WALKING up......and up.......and up.
