The fall colors of the magnolia
For the non southerners out there, who were treated to numerous magnolia blossom pictures in the spring, and who wondered what happens in the fall, here it is--

all the ones I have are brown. too much rain?

2. I think there may be different species
I actually saw a bloom on a magnolia less than a week ago and almost did a double take.

We've had plenty of wet weather here.

Some of the "fall" ones are more pink, not red.
