1. Damn! this is some neighborhood.
I love what you are showing, and am blown away by, yet again, the basic cleanliness of it all.

The fact that your shots are startling, and intriguing, and they allow me to see you hanging out in back alleys where only the size of your camera and your friendly and inclusive demeanor to others would save your butt makes me thrilled you did that, just so we can see it.
These words apply to North America and may not at all apply to Canada.

My utter favorite is "Entrance", I love the all light blue one, the toilet cracks me up because I drove to a decrepit neighborhood 2 min. by car from my house and photographed the same thing for wabi-sabi.

Then, a house down, I took a picture of an old coke dispensing machine, so beautiful.
But the owner did not like my crouching in the crab grass, so this did not work out. Nice picture but just not framed well.
The incident would never have been a problem were I younger, but, alas, I am not.

I like them all, and restrain myself from running my mouth in more detail.

I forget what you said about the property values. But it does not compute when I see the parts you are shooting.

4. Should have explained that
these were taken in a much more central neighborhood downtown, about half an hour away by subway. It's an area I lived in for a few years, so I know every obscure corner of it, but it's constantly changing, which makes it always worth coming back to with a camera. A very peculiar mix of upscale and squalor. A guy who stopped and introduced himself as a semi-pro photographer told me that there was recently a murder behind the blue building.

Coke machine sounds like a great subject. It's a shame when people get territorial about their crab grass.

6. Closest I've come yet to some fall color!
Though temps are now in the 50s, so I'm hoping the trees finally take a hint this week.

7. We have a truly gorgeous day here today,
and the fall winds haven't hit yet, so I'm heading out shortly to Kincaid Park for some fall color and maybe even some wabi-sabi. There's a lot of deadwood over there that should suffice plus a couple of bridges that might have some cool-looking rust.

We have "graffiti busters" here, so the work of our little wannabe gangs gets cleaned up pretty quickly. I guess that's a good thing...

8. House of Blues???
The tenth picture of the blue house, against the blue sky, is terrific. Combines my tastes for architecture and geometry, with just a little hint of nature.

Terrific.
