Photos taken with a pocket camera. Of course it is a Leica D-Lux 4, but still
it is a small sensor camera.

It's not the camera, it is the person using the camera.

1. I love the D-Lux 4
This is a shot that I took with mine that is going to be part of a show opening this weekend called The Body Politic

This camera is great in low light situations and is why I'm using it for a series of photos taken on the subway

5. Excellent images. I was torn as to what to buy. I wanted the Leica, but
couldn't afford it. The Lumix was hard to find. The Olympus EP-1 was gorgeous, but expensive. I ended up buying the Canon G10. It's a solid performing camera.

7. The G10 is a great camera
I have several friends that have it and love it.

There is one bad thing about the Leica, I'm hooked on the brand and I'm itching for an X1

I had to sell the one I had years ago to pay rent... 3 months rent, so it was worth it

but I still wish I had it

M9, while pricy is, well, quite possibly the ultimate digital camera

12. The D-Lux 4 is like that tiny gun given to Eddie Murphy in "Men in Black."

This is my fourth Canon. I almost went with a DSLR, but didn't want the weight and bulk.

2. Oh my God I'm in love. WHAT? I now go study the camera.
Is this enough feedback on that the shots are utterly astonishing?
I hope so, must go see, no more time for compliments.....

3. Also look at the Lumix LX-3

Note the lens in the image. The only real difference between it and the Leica is the software, oh and a bit of money.

14. It shows you don't need to break the bank on equipment to make good
photographs.
