1. I like these Richard D. #2 keeps drawing me back...
something about the simplicity of form, and the colors involved. I really, really like it.

3. I agree
Something is making the shadow in that one look deep blue, at least on first looking at it. I really like it.

Of course, it's hard to beat the birds! (some not native to my part of the country, for sure)

4. Moon
Great shots, particularly the last one. I do have a question, though. How did you get such a good moon shot? Every time I've tried, the moon is over-exposed. Do you switch to fully manual settings?

5. It's tricky
The moon is really bright. A spot meter setting helps but I usually do manual. On this one I had the camera set to take 5 shots 1 f-stop apart. This was the least exposed. 1/125 at f 5.6. I could have even shut the lens down a bit for the moon, but then I would have lost the subtle colors of the sky. So, in lightroom I dodged the moon down a bit and increased sharpness to bring out the features.

6. Very beautiful, that's for the second one, the naughty bird with the red beak is
a real keeper. I swear he looks guilty. I like the other birds, and I'm so glad you told how you did the moon. This same moon was here a few days ago, :),
and I tried to "shoot" it and could not.
