2009, some keepsakes (& FYI, links to Photo Group 2008 retrospectives)
Edited on Fri Dec-18-09 12:20 AM by JeffR
Early for a year-end retrospective, I know, but I doubt if I'll have more shooting time until January.

I searched for the 2008 retrospectives Photo Group members showed here, and for convenience's sake, here are the links I could find for them:

1. wow. I did not do one last year?
I was probably in some kind of contrarian mood about it, judging from my snarky post between Christmas and New Year's about prospectives...

oh well.

6. You're just doing your part to keep a sluggish economy moving.
;-)

2. This reminds me
I love all your train (subway?) station shots. This one is wonderful, and there is that great predominant color again.

Love the rest of these, but the pair of donkeys is especially interesting.

Thanks.

I kind of post any interesting pictures I have all along......I would probably be repeating if I did a retrospective. I'm sure I have forgotten. Actually I posted quite a few in that song title thread I started (what we wouldn't use).

4. Glad you posted a retrospective, Celebration.
Thanks for your comment about the subway shots. One of my favorite subjects, though the subway stations here are mostly drab. This one got a makeover shortly after the museum expansion was completed. I'll probably take an afternoon this winter and just ride around with the camera again.

7. Is it that time again already???
This year I'm definitely going to put together a retrospective. It's fun to see what everyone did over the year and gives a good idea of where we were (both mentally and physically). Looks like you had a pretty good year, full of interesting adventures. In case I haven't mentioned it before, I really admire your pictures, especially the b&w.

8. Thanks, Tindalos!
It's been a strange, disorienting, difficult year. And ultimately, a good one. Never enough time with the camera; that seems to be the constant throughout it all.
