1. My uncle lives in Scotland

He says they don't have any snow where he is. By the looks of it, he lives in the only green spot in the UK.

5. Yes on the coast

They're usually kept toasty warm by the Gulf Stream. Hope it doesn't break down, as some predict, or they're screwed.

3. When we lived in the uk

The snow was very wet and heavy and turned brownish grey and slushy very quickly. Doesn't look that way in this shot. But the area where London would be located (under some aapparent cloud cover), is showing some signs it's not as white as other areas. Don't get me wrong, I had great memories living there as a child...just snowy weather wasn't one of them.
