** REQUEST FOR SEASONAL CONTEST HELP **

Apparently blueraven95 has particularly heavy work in her graduate classes coming up, and will be unable to co-host the Winter Contest this time around. If worst comes to worst, I can do the whole thing myself, but it becomes a lot easier with a second person helping out (particularly since I just finished hosting a monthly contest as well). Any volunteers?

What's different about the seasonal that needs two people? Or do you just prefer having another person?

...part of it is that (especially after running a monthly contest less than a month before). But it also has to do with these not fitting the hosted-by-the-previous-winner-who-doesn't-enter-a-photo model. In Seasonal Contests, the hosts can enter their own pictures as well. The way it has always worked is, if one host's entry makes the finals and the other's doesn't, the latter hosts the final. If both entries make it, the finals are hosted by the co-host whose finalist entry drew the fewest votes of the two. (And, obviously, if neither has a photo in the finals, they decide among themselves who runs that round.) That way, you don't have the conflict of interest where the host of the final round has her or his photo be one of the leading contenders.

I don't know if I even have a worthwhile shot for this (although I have a lot of holiday lights stuff).
