Oklahoma Ice Storm 2010
Some shots of the ice. I didn't do anything special, as it's too darn cold to be fiddling with my settings :)

My yucca plant, about an hour into the storm

Tree branches coated with ice, a few hours in

Icy branches getting too close to the wires, a few hours in

Frozen grapevines in my backyard

Wires frozen solid, about 12 hours after

My snowy yard, this morning. It's now been snowing about 8 hours today.

My littlest guy, who loves the snow but not the ice

Frozen wires and trees, 18 hours in

My poor weeping willow

And a yucca

1. Slick pictures......
.......especially those ice-covered ones.

Cold and rainy in Dallas this morning, but so far, no sleet or freezing rain.

Please keep it on your side of the Red River................please.

3. LOL, yeah...
the weather sucks at the moment. It's STILL snowing. They weatherfolks said it would stop last night/early this morning. It has not stopped.

4. I'm in a rural area
south of Tulsa. Came home yesterday afternoon and there has been no going anywhere since. 6-7 inches here now, I think, and still snowing. Hoping we don't lose power like we did in 07.

Stay safe and warm. :hi:

5. Thanks a lot!!
You sent it to Tennessee.

Honestly, not enough here to get dramatic pics, but overnight is not over. Mostly ice so far and I just heard a limb crack. Oh, boy.

6. Nice shots.
I gotta say, I'm glad we don't get that stuff up here in Anchorage very often.

8. These make me want to run a hot bath.
Hope your little willow gets through this without too much damage.
