It's spectacular, as are the ones where some of the trees are in full light behind the ones in shade. Beautiful.

3. Thank you, NV Whino - for a Californian these are hightly unusual sights,
like your own beautiful winter shots are to me.
I looked out my window and downtown was strangely lit so I walked out to come home with these shots a few minutes later. I forgot about downtown.

5. The 3rd one is exceptional, the last one is riveting, for some reason.

but I am partial to the second one. I really like the way the light illuminates the underside of the branches. It's a neat shot.
