sunset cracks

not too sure about this one. I like the idea, but I think I need to find a better fence... what yall think?

I think it might also look good if you take a horizontal shot with the top third of the photo being the bottom of the fence and the lower two thirds showcasing the light on the ground. Not sure if that'll make it better or worse than your already great shot.

I was working on this one, but I don't like the color and am too lazy to mess with it any more

yeah, the light did not extend as far as I would have liked. I think I need to keep my eyes open for a better (worse) fence

because I can't help lauding that you found a place to hide the piece of pizza in the dark.

(just clownin' with you, you already know I don't much like pizza)

About the photos, the top one is my favorite of the two. It's different, and I'd like to see a version where the top parts of the choppy white light is gone, and the straight white light starts moving down, and most of the all black on the bottom is gone, and a bit of rotation to where the lines are straight.
It may not do a thing to improve it, but it also may be quite striking.

7. I like the first edit.

It might just be me, but the bluish object below the right side of the fence looks like a candy wrapper or something and is kind of distracting. Would the original have benefited from a small amount of fill-flash? Being new around here, I hope I'm not being too picky.

Looking at the crops, I think I have to agree with WannaJumpMyScooter that the vertical is better but it's good to be able to see and compare the vertical and the horizontal.
