2. I appreciate the comparison. Hadn't made that connection myself.

And at least by comparison, this one is successful. It helped a little that I was using a zoom for this one. The lighting and the color helped too.

3. Oh I like this, and it of course also reminds me of the other one

where you photographed an unsuspecting person from the back.
It's an intriguing shot because I don't know where the corresponding red behind the fence comes from, also in that the woman's clothing goes from dark (heavy) to light at the cap in an unbroken rythm, which would make spiritually sensitive people take note.

It has an intimate feel as well.
You did not ask about crop, but I won the crop poll on your other one so I have clout, and I would take the fuzzy stuff off the right. About 3/4th ".
