That little circle or corona around the light is cool!

2. To me, this image has it all.
Fire. Balance. Facinating points of interest in absolutely the right places, and they even turned the light on for you.

I don't like digging through centimeters of dirt. But boy, this was worth it.
One of the finest images I have seen here.

5. Oh, I guess I should have said
sorry... I believe that is Fire Island Light, so that would be either the Babylon, NY town beaches or Robert Moses State park

you use for scanning? That came out spectacularly amazing. I've got boxes of old slides and need to get started.

8. I was just going to ask the same thing.
Have tons of slides I want to scan. To date, I've never got a result as good as this.

11. That looks like a very nice piece of kit.
I have an Epson V100P that I'm pretty happy with. The iffy results I've had to date are probably more my fault than the scanner's, but I've been researching scanning tips and hope I can get better results soon.

12. The "drawback", if you want to call it that
is that it only does negatives & slides. My current HP flatbed scanner has a slot for them. I've never tried it.

13. That would be my issue too since I just don't have enough desktop real estate
and most of my scanning is documents. But it would be nice to have a dedicated slide/negative scanner, and that one sounds good.
