1. Tell me, Alfredo, if I look, don't yet comment,
and then come and look again will I keep finding additions?

I would say your vision is what, 15-15 would be about right for that first one. That is a photo as clear and phenomenal in it's impeccable focus as the ones of your watches were.
I like the others as well, but my second choice is the dimensionality of the last one.

You are on a roll with your work in my humble () opinion.

3. Thanks. Auto focus comes in when there is doubt. I
noted my distance sight is going, so I had my eyes checked. The diagnosis is Macular Degeneration. My left eye has a bit of distortion on the grid. I can see the distortion in the straight lines on this forum. I thought it was my glasses causing it.

I don't know how fast it is progressing, or if I will need to paint my monopod white.

I use my right eye for focus, so I'm still in the game.

The goldfish picture is much better in black and white than in color.

7. I love how straight those trees are in the third photo, almost like someone drew
them with a ruler.

:hide: ;)

2. Love the last one
took me a minute to figure out what it was. But it instantly talked to me with this composition.

9. My eyes are way ahead of me, not that I'm young.
I really have to get my bifocals updated. The last time I used manual focus, on some recent macros, was pretty bad. Probably need to fiddle with the diopter on the viewfinder as well, which I've never had to do.

10. I went from reading glasses to trifocals, and for 15 years
there was no change. BTW, I got my exam, and two pairs of glasses for $90. Love the VA.

The zoom on the review is a real plus for me. I can trash the "soft focus" shots on the spot.

The monopod is a real help. I can also use it like a maulstick when in difficult positions.

12. Your discussions with Adsos Letter about monopods prompted me to get one.
I was lens shopping and the store was offering a good deal on Slik monopods, so I got one. Hugely helpful with the 80-400mm and for some recent night shooting.

13. You see a lot of monopods at NFL games. I used it to Shoot
over crowds. I put it on a ten second timer, hoisted it up, and hoped for the best.

15. Great technique for protest marches too, I'd bet.
I'll have to try that.

16. I used it last Christmas to get photos of the kids without
having to wade through the crowd of camera wielding mothers.

11. The 4th one
reminds me of a Georgia O'Keefe painting. It's lovely.

That one and the fishies are my favorites. :-)
