Once again...

I stood in the pouring rain taking photos of the AMGEN race. They pushed it back from March to avoid the rain, and still it rained. It wasn't as bad as last year, but still....

My racing aficionado in NM says Lance is the 4th rider with Levi behind him and Chris Horner in the yellow shoes. Happy accident on my part. I just set up the tripod, propped an umbrella over me and the camera and kept pressing the shutter release with numb fingers.

One of the last riders, but I really liked the shot.

I'm thinking I would rather be in the car, with my bike on top, than riding in the rain. Kudos to you for braving the weather, and glad to see you out shooting.

3. An amendment to my first statement.

Last year's race was in February.

And on a fun note, my therapist loves bike races so we spend the session talking race while torturing my fingers.
