Showing you one that lost out in the last minute
These two little girls in Egypt almost stole mine when I discovered the heart on the sleeve. I went back and forth with them and then the old folks won out in the end.
So, at least I show them to you.
I'm proud of that photo, and maybe I should have submitted it after all.

By the way, it looks to me like tonight's the night. We would do well to come up with more photos TODAY to fill the 11 slots that remain.
The submission period runs out tonight.

2. It was 3 years ago. I was mostly in "Sekem"
a phenomenal place where the desert is green and blooming, where a visionary brought "green" agriculture and Waldorf schools to the people.Factories produce, people work, kids learn, a hospital heals, and all behind a HUGE wall surrounding I don't know how many acres with one great gate into which the factory workers and school children stream in the mornings.

I was fortunate in that my brother is associated with the school system the founder chose, and therefore I was able to get in as a guest accompanying my brother. I was mostly quiet as a little mouse and observed and took tons of photographs.
Our small group of guests was accompanied on our outings to the desert, the pyramids etc. by an open trucks with machine gun armed guards for protection.
The founder of Sekem insisted on it.

7. Thanks my friends, to all of you.
I got lucky to see this one in the archives, and it was a really tough choice.
