Dear Photo Group

I have requested that the admins do a voluntary tombstone on my account; because of this, I have also removed my photo from this month's competition in order to open up another slot for someone else.

I am sure I will still find time to lurk, since so much good and interesting work is posted here; it's always a pleasure to see the world through someone else's eyes.

Please; don't read anything into my request for a voluntary tombstoning. As Mark Twain wrote:

"It ain't the things we don't know that hurt us, it's the things we know that just ain't so."

Some things take too much effort to explain and, in the end, add nothing. Such is the case here.

Good luck and life to you all; may you have many, many days of pleasant life and photography ahead of you. :D

There have been a number of those in this group whose talent was apparent from day one, and whose compassion and good heart were apparent here and elsewhere on DU. You are in the top rank of those I've seen that way.
