The poll will run til Sunday, June 27th around noon, and I will post the winners afterwards.

I lined up and numbered the ten finalists by their vote count 1 - 10, and then used the random sequence generator to determine the order in which I posted them.

Please go look and vote and please help keep it kicked.

This has been fun

I made what might be a novel (=truly dumb) error and posted this in GD Presidential by accident.
The voting started immediately and I could not figure a way to stop it and post it in GD instead. So I made a post in GD, explained, encouraged and linked, and that is working fine.
Now the thing that is needed it the kicking of the post in GD. I will be personally vigilant to keep it kicked, but help is appreciated if needed.

I said some time back your photo is ALMOST doing as well as I thought it would.

Now you ARE doing as well as I thought you might, and it will be fun to watch a real "fight" for the top.

But I must add that this is my first time making into any sort of final, and that is very exciting.

And realizing the detailed work involved in hosting one of these events, I'm also excited that there are so many very worthy pieces that are getting more votes!!! I guess my competative spirit is tempered with wanting to have a stress-less Summer.

PS....could you post a link to the link on the GP? Ooooops never mind, I just saw the other link in your op!!!

You are doing great and your fix should be fine. Anyone that wants to complain can become the permanent contest host.:rofl: Thank you for hosting. Now to find time to look for horizontal building photos.

I look forward to poking around in my photo files, and also to going out to shoot for the calendar pictures.

I'll be so curious how many votes we will end up with. We're one third of the time into the voting and already have as many votes as we do in a contest without cross-linked posts.
