Attempting to not wander all over the place
Today I'll just show you sky/water/a dolphin's fin and a falling sun
(Tomorrow it may be alligators and avocados the size of my face)

The waters and skies are in the Everglades.

This is the road to Key Largo.

Huge skies on the only road to "Flamingo" in the bottom of the Everglades. When the tiny community chose a name it was either that, or "The end of the World". Really.
The road goes through swamp, hard to tell, but it's all filled with water.

The braquish waters in the channel out into the lakes of the Everglades, filled with crocs, and some gators.

Here is what it looked like once we were out in the lake. We were told the water is about 3-4 feet deep. If we fell in we should first see if we can stand. If yes, we should run like hell.

Our guide stopped the boat so we could get a shot of the Dolphin's fin, that he made his way there from the ocean was amazing.

And coming home the sun was as tired as we were as it fell into bed, took this out of the car, not a great picture, but the sunset was awesome.

1. My dear Mira!
Those are all very nice, but you know your sunset knocked my socks off!

The colors just blew me away.

Thanks for all of these, sweetie...

:hi:

3. Oh, wow
Blessed clouds!! And they make a gorgeous sunset. What a heavenly place. Really love the boat wake picture and the way the wake reflects the light. I bet the breeze on that boat was welcome.

4. Looks like a great trip.
I really like your "straight on" shot of your road to Key Largo!

And you know . . . in mariner folk lore, dolphins swimming with the ship is considered good luck!
