1. My dear JeffR!
And rhapsodic they are...

Beautiful shade of blue! And lovely with the bare tree branches behind them!

Thanks...

6. Thanks! This cobalt blue is my favorite color.
Somehow it's peaceful and exhilarating at the same time.

7. Glad you like it.
Was sitting in a friend's kitchen. He has these by the window. The only effort was to figure out where to focus, and that took about 6 tries.

4. That is regal and rich.
Could be used for the contest. How did you get the color out of the background?
(What I don't know could fill many libraries)>

9. The background really is colorless.
The wall of the building next door is just a few feet away, and just a pale void when seen out of focus. So no post-processing needed to get the effect.:)

5. Dear JeffR, that's some weird shit you've been drinking.
What kind off booze comes in blue bottles?

Nice photo, though. Love the juxtaposition of the peacock feathers.

10. LOL!
Don't know what was originally in those bottles. And I was just drinking coffee at the time, honest.

14. These are so nice and rich.
Love the almost glow they have. The color reminds me of an old ink well bottle I found in mom's yard when I was a kid and the neighbor that was so excited about it. Mind you I was all of 12, he was in his late 70's. He'd been looking for one that wasn't chipped of cracked for decades. (Collected antiques.) I tried to give it to him but he insisted he pay for it. He never did find another in that good of shape so that one stayed in a place of importance instead of getting sold or traded. Now glass that color reminds me of Mr. Bill, in a very good way.
Often we bring our own stories to a beautiful photo now matter the photographers intent. :)
