Non-entry for the Photography Group
Here's a photo I considered entering for Black but ultimately decided against. It doesn't have quite the punch I think is needed for a contest entry. But it does serve as something of a tribute to the Photography group here at DU.

Evolution In Black

Pop quiz... Without looking them up on the web, can you name the bottom two cameras? The bottom one should be relatively easy, as they are fairly common. I'm guessing the second last one will be more challenging to name.

I bought the bottom two at different garage sales, primarily because I liked the look. I don't expect to ever use either of them (and even if I could get film for them and find a place to process them, my skill level would make that an expensive and probably futile exercise).

1. Bottom one is a Brownie
It was the precursor to the Brownie Hawkeye, and I think it used 116 film. Could be 120, but I think 116. Haven't a clue on the second one other than the Minolta I can read on it.

2. Brownie Six-16
You're correct on the Brownie. The version I have is the Six-16. According to the manuals, it used the 616 film. I'm curious to see if anyone will be able to guess the second one.

4. Damn
I wrote 616 first and then said, "Naw, it's got to be 116." So much for my camera knowledge.

3. That second one...
I seem to remember seeing this. Or something like this. Most likely when I was in South Korea, 1976-1977. Given it's setup, my best guess is that it used 110 film, which was popular enough at the time.

Good guess...
Good guess on the film. And the film type was actually used for the name. It's a Minolta 110 SLR.
