I worked outside most of the day, and the vibrancy of my surroundings was breathtaking

You have a lot more colorful leaves in one area than we do here.
But we do have color scattered all around, interspersed with the glinting light off the magnolias and the green of the pines.
Fall east of the Mississippi is glorious, my favorite season.
