Through the branches

Here's a photo I took last weekend. The skies were a bit unsettled, with quite a few dark clouds mixed in with the clear blue skies. I would have liked to have had a more full blue backdrop for the leaves but I hope this turned out okay despite all the gray.

I like the gray skies - a foreshadowing of things to come.

A cold autmn day in the late afternoon. Soon the snow will be blowing and the tree will be bare.

Hmmm.... Maybe that's why I wanted the blue skies. I didn't want to think about the coming winter. It doesn't snow much here but there's generally a lot of cold rain. Never fun to bike through.
