Madina Masjid
This area mosque is getting a complete overhaul. When finished this year (Insha'Allah) it will also feature seven domes. The new minaret kept me out for a long time in the changing light of a cold afternoon.

a long time, you had to hang the moon, launch some birds, and sharpen the camera lens for these beautiful depictions.
I'm very impressed with the color and clarity.

Looking back at them, you're right. They could have been taken at midsummer.

If the domes do get completed this year, I'll be heading back (on what I hope will be a warmer day). Some excellent halal grocery stores nearby, as a bonus.

7. Isn't it? The minaret is the tallest thing around for quite a distance.
The main dome is going to be nearly as tall. They've taken a pay-as-they-go approach with this project. The final plan looks impressive:
