Katz...
...trying out my new T2i on the cats.

Shadow, taking up as much desk space as possible:

Ranger, right before he bolted:

1. Perfection in portraiture. This group could start to make me like cats
I think I don't like them much because I don't know them much. With portraits like this you can't help but get closely acquainted.
They are gorgeous. Cats and photos. You are a happy person with your camera, I can tell.

2. Thank you...
...I am just starting to use the new camera, there's a lot to learn.

Shadow is easier to photograph in a way because she'll sit still; on the other hand, it's hard to get a good picture of her.

Ranger is jumpy and the camera noises make him bolt, usually; but he is completely photogenic and rarely takes a bad picture.

I'm wondering if I should enter Shadow in the February contest :-) Not really!

3. Awwwwwww . . . both great photos.
Shadow very regal while Ranger is "laid back."

Ranger reminds me of a cat we had while growing up!

4. Well I must have done something right with these photos...
...because personality-wise, you nailed it.

Shadow can afford to be regal, she is quite a big girl, weighing in at 16 pounds last time we checked. Ranger is quite a bit smaller than that, but he looks almost as big because of his long fluffy fur (not evident in this photo).

Thanks for the kind words, I felt lucky to get these and wanted to share!

5. Lucky you!
You have a great shadow entry subject and don't have to wait for the sun to shine or the weather to defrost! Very nice.
