For understandable reasons I looked through my photos of Cairo today
Hundreds and hundreds - so much to look at, over the next few days I may be forced to post a few without shadows.:)
Three years ago I was lucky enough to get to go.

Ran across two with nice shadows.

Here my companions and I paid a guard at an ancient crumbling mosque to let us to up into the minaret to look down.
the steps were incredibly brittle. This was dangerous. He also did not come up with us.

I'm throwing in a photo of the entrance to the museum we hear about and see on TV - as it looks in better times.

1. Thanks for sharing these!
Don't know that I'll ever get there in person, but I feel closer to it now.

3. Yes - it's Salmon color. And yes, it is very eerie for me to look through my photos
from Cairo.

2. I did not realize the museum was such a hot pink color.
It must feel strange for you to be watching the events in Cairo now, with a somewhat familiar eye of the area.
